Heh. Why is it that life's either ridiculously quiet, or enjoying tossing me from one end to the other? So, of course, now is the perfect time for the muses decide, hey! Time for an ambush! Note, the ironic icon.

ANNOUNCING. ANNOUNCING. ANNOUNCING.

Yep, I've taken the plunge, and Quillan's has now gone Premium! (Basically, it was getting ridiculous trying to keep up with where I was putting everything, and really? For about $3 a fortnight, it's worth the experiment.)

There's a whole stack of new stuff there - Blokes' Wear, Ladies', Trinkets, Chocoholics Heaven, Mugs Galore (which are proving really popular, before I've even really started promoting!), Member of E.V.I.L. products, W*RK shirts, and a bunch of new designs to boot.

Ok, it's a little different to my usual style, but for some reason it worked better this way. Inspired by a random comment by the totally awesome

"Quite a performance today."

"Hmm." A sip of whisky, a sigh, because anything to do with Edward Elric was troublesome.

"A bit ... well, extravagant though." A sip, a ponderous look. "Ever wonder if Ed suffers from little man syndrome?"

A snort. "Hardly." A sip, a smirk. "Fullmetal doesn't suffer from it. He revels in it, he wallows in it, he glories in it, but he doesn't suffer. The only thing that's not over the top and utterly in your face about Edward Elric is his physical self." Another sip, a smirk that's turned wry. "It's everyone else who gets to suffer for it."

A look askance, a sip, a quick adjustment of glasses and a suppressed grin. "Oh, I've definitely got to tell him you said that."

Another sip, a smirk widening. "You do, and you die."

A chuckle, a sip, a grin. "Do you actually think you'll live long enough."

A nonchalant face, dark eyes mirthful. A casual sip this time. "You're forgetting that Fullmetal's just as likely to shoot the messenger in this case."

A long look left then a thoughtful gaze upwards. A sigh, a depressed slump onto one fist, a self depreciating twist of a mobile mouth. "You can be a real bastard when you're right, you know that?"

A full smirk. A sip. "So I've been told."

Neither had to say by whom.

01:05 am - Journal Resources (aka, what the shite happened and what can we do to help ourselves?)
Since I've been collecting this round up of links primarily for my own reference, I thought I'd post it for others to use as well.

Posted below are links mostly to journal backup and/or migration resources, ways of keeping in touch with people should things really shatter apart, tips and links to help in using other journals, and some basic 'what happened where' links at the bottom to help sort out what actually went down.

Let me just say, right off, I'm not planning on moving at this stage. However, since I have no idea what LJ/6A will do about adult content in the future, I figure it's better to pick up these things while they're in my face than to have to go looking later should things go pear shaped.

Anyway, enough of my rambling. On to the round up. Have at it guys!
